Chef Abel Hernandez is an award-winning Mexican chef and Delegate of Mexican Cuisine for the CCGM (Conservatorio de la Cultura Gastronomica Mexicana) who has taught and studied culinary arts around the world. He consults our menu on occasion making sure that we represent and make our food to the highest standards. He currently is a professor at multiple universities in the Mexico City region. Restaurateur Jamie Soltero Jr. is an Oregon native whose yearly visits to Mexico celebrate his heritage and nurture his passion for indigenous cuisine. He currently owns and operates Mayahuel Catering and Tamale Boy. Joaquin Lopez is a theater and music artist who uses his ancestral folklore and history to create a unique and distinguished Mayahuel experience. He currently works as an independent artist and runs his family operation at La Bonita.
